YOUNGSTERS lined up to meet the mayor and launch this year’s Scouts Christmas Post.
The annual postage scheme, now in its 26th year, got under way at Debman Butchers – where one of the many collection points can be found this year – with Ipswich mayor Mary Blake
Scouts delivered around 95,000 cards last Christmas.
Collection has already started and will continue until Tuesday, December 11.
For just 20 pence, Scouts from Ipswich, Claydon, Kesgrave and Martlesham promise to deliver any sized card in time for Christmas Eve. Anyone sending a card is asked to also leave their 20p payment per card wrapped in a bag and post at one of the 184 collection points.
