A SEAGULL has become entangled in a fishing line which is suspended from a tree.
Firefighters attempted to rescue the bird that has been left suspended in the middle of the River Gipping at Yarmouth Road in Ipswich.
After arriving at the scene at 12.38pm today and with the RSPCA in attendance, the crew waited for the water rescue team to attend.
The seagull was rescued by 1.22pm and is now in the care of the RSPCA.
