CUSTOMERS at a Suffolk clothes retailer are helping to raise cash for Comic Relief by wearing funny ties.
Coes in Norwich Road, Ipswich, will donate £1 when customers send in a funny photo of themselves.
Staff will also be wearing comedy ties on Friday to mark the fundraiser.
Peter Hubka, a director at the store, said: “We wanted to do something to encourage people and by sending us a funny picture they will be donating £1 to charity without even having to go into their own pockets. The idea came from Radio Suffolk’s Mark Murphy who was encouraging people to wear comedy ties.”
The photographs will also be entered into a prize draw with one entrant winning £200 in vouchers.
To submit your picture visit www.facebook.com/CoesOnline or visit www.twitter.com/CoesIpswich.
The winner of the vouchers will be decided through an online vote.
