The pupils from Suffolk One will be playing on the “One” stage that has been renamed the “Ed Sheeran” stage in tribute to the multi award-winning singer from Framlingham.

A mixture of bands made up from current and former students will be playing a variety of types of music.

Vice principal Jenny Milsom said: “Glastonbury may have been and gone to much acclaim, but Ip-art is a great festival that will be showcasing a variety of different art forms from in and around this county.

“One is delighted to be playing a part in the festival.

“Some of our students have genuine ambitions to forge careers in the music industry so to be able to play in front of large audiences like this will be a great experience for them.” Earlier in the year, Suffolk One students organised a battle of the bands competition and the winners, Back To The Point from Copleston High School, will also be playing a set.

The line-up also features Solstice, Polar Collective, Mercury Skies and Should Be Kings among others.
