TWO teenagers arrested on suspicion of raping a 24-year-old woman in Ipswich early on Friday morning have been released on bail.
The incident is said to have occurred in the alleyway along Oak Lane and Tower Church Yard which runs between Northgate Street and Tower Street.
Louise Rosher, a spokeswoman Suffolk Police, said: “Suffolk Constabulary can confirm that the 17 and 18-year-old males arrested on Friday night on suspicion of rape have been released on police bail.
“They are due to return to Ipswich police station on August 4 pending further enquiries.”
