The trial of a teenager accused of arson attacks on three Ipswich homes is expected to take place in June.
Before Ipswich Crown today for a plea and trial preparation hearing was Edvinas Janavicius, 18, of Norwich Road, Ipswich, who pleaded not guilty to arson with intent to endanger life at three properties in Bramford Road, Ipswich, on February 3 this year.
He also pleaded not guilty to an offence of aggravated burglary with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm on the same date.
Police were called to reports of three houses in Bramford Road being damaged by fire at around 6.20am on February 3 and the same morning they also received a report of a house in Bramford Road being broken into and a man being assaulted.
Janavicius’s trial is expected to take place at Ipswich Crown Court during a two week warned list commencing June 4.
