A teenager spotted walking across the Orwell Bridge sparked fears over her safety from passers-by today.
A female teenager, from the Ipswich area, was spoken to by officers on the Orwell Bridge at around 11.50am today, a police spokesman said.
But the spokesman added the teenager, who was by herself, was there “legitimately” and there were “no concerns over her well-being”.
The teenager, who was not taken to a medical facility, was not detained by officers or removed from the scene.
