Rail services between Ipswich and Lowestoft suffered disruption after a lorry collided with a railway bridge in Thurston.
The collision happened at around 11.20am at the bridge in Holton Road today.
Rail services were affected by a reduced speed limit placed on trains passing through the area of the collision, resulting in delays of up to 10 minutes, while the bridge was inspected to make sure it was still structurally safe.
However no services were cancelled and the restriction was lifted at 1.50pm, with services returning to normal schedules.
