Suffolk superstar Ed Sheeran have released the official dates for his 2019 European tour, starting in Lyon and ending in Ipswich.

The Castle on the Hill singer will return to his home county on August 23 and 24 for two gigs at Chantry Park, starting at 4pm.

Tickets are due to go on sale on Thursday, September 27 at 10am.

Other key locations featuring in the tour are Lisbon, Barcelona, Rome, Budapest, Prague and Moscow.

Fans have been reacting with delight to the news all morning – with some considering missing their own weddings to catch a glimpse of the Suffolk legend.

Ed has strong links to the area, as he grew up in Framlingham and attended Thomas Mills High School – which is perhaps why he chose our county town to round off his headline tour.
