A felixstowe train was cancelled after the bridge accident.

A train between Ipswich and Felixstowe was replaced by a bus after the East Suffolk line was closed for a short time when a lorry was in collision with the Bramford Road bridge.

Engineers from Network Rail were sent to examine the accident, but decided there was no damage to the bridge and the line was re-opened soon after the accident which happened shortly before 9am.

One train between Ipswich and Lowestoft was delayed for 11 minutes, but it hoped to make up some of this time on its journey to the coast.
