FIREFIGHTERS were alerted to reports of a vehicle which burst into flames in an Ipswich street in the early hours of today.
Two crews from Colchester Road and Princes Street fire stations were called into action at about 4.40am.
They discovered a van alight in Sidegate Lane.
Using breathing equipment they quickly tackled the flames, bringing the incident under control by 4.55am.
