Ipswich Witches to race in the Premier League

IPSWICH Witches will be racing in the Premier League in 2011.

For the first time in more than 20 years, the Suffolk side have dipped out of the top tier of speedway racing in England and will be racing in the second division of the sport.

However, Witches director Chris Louis, who attended the three-day BSPA meeting at Bournemouth over the weekend along with father John, admitted last night to being ‘happy and excited’ about the prospect of Premier League racing at Foxhall Stadium in 2011.

See the full interview with Chris Louis in tomorrow’s Evening Star and EADT.
