A 47-year-old woman who was arrested following an assault in Ipswich has been charged by police.
Officers were sent to Civic Drive in Ipswich at about 6.30pm last night after it was reported that a man, 52, had suffered a head injury – he was taken to Ipswich Hospital.
His condition was initially described as critical but he has since been discharged.
Lesley Gallogly, of Rope Walk, was arrested at the scene and was today charged with a public order offence. She will appear at South East Suffolk Magistrates’ Court on September 23.
