A WOMAN accused of attacking a paramedic with a claw hammer had her case committed to Ipswich Crown Court today.
Patricia Gosling, of Roundwood Road, Ipswich, appeared before the town’s magistrates charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.
The 54-year-old is alleged to have left a puncture wound on a hand of a female paramedic during an incident which occurred shortly after 3pm on Monday at a property in Roundwood Road.
Gosling was remanded in custody until the next hearing of her case at Ipswich Crown Court on December 21.
The paramedic was sent to the property after Gosling is said to have complained of chest pains and shortness of breath.
The 37-year-old is also said to have sustained suspected nerve damage and a laceration between two of the fingers of her right hand during the alleged attack.
