Ipswich: Youngster attacked for his mountain bike

A TEENAGER was hospitalised after being robbed for his mountain bike.

The 16-year-old boy was set upon by a gang on Murray Road Recreation Ground - which is between Felixstowe and Nacton Road - around 7.30pm today.

He suffered minor cuts and bruises in the attack and was taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment.

His male attackers - aged in their late teens to early twenties - made off with his yellow, black and silver men’s mountain bike.

One was wearing a hoodie and jogging bottoms while another was in jeans.
