In a conversation published in the Guardian’s ‘Weekend’ magazine, musician Brian Eno and former Greek finance minister Yanis Varoufakis briefly discussed their experiences of the town, with their views not especially favourable.

Varoufakis, a former economics lecturer at the University of Essex and UEA in Norwich, told friend Eno how he used to travel through Ipswich, with the former Roxy Music keyboard player, and Suffolk native, replying “best thing to do with Ipswich really - pass through.”

What do you believe makes Ipswich an attractive place to visit? What are the town’s best features? Or do you agree with Mr Eno, that the town is best off passing over?
