Air ambulance medics were called to help after a woman collapsed at Isleham Marina.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance Anglia Two flew to scene on Friday afternoon.
While treating the woman the patient became stable and was left with paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service.
The crew took the woman by land to West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds.
