BELLE Vue have called in Danish star, Niels-Kristian Iversen, to replace injured Jason Crump when they complete their Elite League fixtures with a crucial home match against Ipswich tonight (7 30).
Iversen, the Peterborough No 1, was put on standby last week as Crump battled to be fit enough following a skin graft to his arm to ride in Saturday's Italian Grand Prix at Terenzano where he struggled to score four points.
Chris Morton, the One51 Aces team manager, said: “We knew there was a strong chance he wouldn't be able to ride against Ipswich in a match where we will finish bottom of the table if we lose. So we asked Iversen last week if he would make himself available and he will come in at No 1.”
