FIRE broke out in an Essex cafe in the early hours of this morning.
The blaze was detected at the cafe in Tamarisk Way, Jaywick, at about 1.30am.
Firefighters from Clacton and Weeley were called to the building, measuring eight by eight metres.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish the flames by 03.47am.
It is not yet clear how the fire started.
