TICKETS for the next year's Southwold Jazz Festival are already being snapped up just 48 hours after this year's event finished.
The festival included sessions from acclaimed jazz musicians such as Peter King and the Patrician Jazz band as well as local talents such as the Sole Bay Jazz Band and the East Norfolk Jazz Orchestra.
Annette Mace, a member of Southwold Jazz Festival Committee's steering group, said: “It was an outstanding success and a complete sell-out.
“In the end we had to turn people away and 115 people have already reserved tickets for next year's event regardless of what they're doing and before we've even fixed up the bands.”
The festival committee also organise one-off jazz concerts throughout the year and the next one is with Fran Glendining and the Simon Brown Quartet on November 22. For more information, contact Annette Mace on 01502 722920 or visit the website at www.southwold-live-jazz.co.uk.
