Jewellery, silverware and personal documents are among items stolen in a burglary at a Beccles home last week.

The break-in, at a house in Ballygate, happened sometime between 9am on Thursday, January 21, and 9pm on January 22.

Items including a claret coloured jewellery case, gold rings, necklaces and brooches, a gold ring with three diamonds, a gold ring with a sapphire stone, a gold bracelet watch in a brown leather box, a silver jug, a silver plate and a silver tea set, with teapot, sugar bowl and jug, were taken. One of the necklaces had sailing boats.

Police are asking anyone who may have been offered any similar items for sale to get in touch.
