Items of jewellery have been stolen in a burglary in Cotton, near Stowmarket, yesterday.

The incident happened at a home in Broad Road sometime between 4.10pm and 6.55pm yesterday, Thursday, January 25.

A glass window pane in the rear patio door was smashed and an untidy search of the house was carried out.

A police spokesman said a jewellery box and several items of jewellery were taken.
