Bury St Edmunds burglars snatch jewellery and cash in broad daylight

A Bury St Edmunds home was burgled in the middle of the day as criminals took jewellery and money before making a hasty exit.

At some point between 1pm and 4pm, an unconfirmed number of offenders forced their way into the house and stole jewellery and an unknown sum of money. Police would like to speak to anyone who was near Fornham Road area at this time on Tuesday October 2.

Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity or who has any information about the crime is asked to contact Bury St Edmunds CID on 101 quoting reference 37/56789.
