SWINDON star Thomas H Jonasson will miss the remainder of the British season after receiving a 28-day ban for his non-appearance at Ipswich on Monday.
The Swedish rider failed to reach Foxhall due to passport issues and missed the Robins’ 56-37 defeat which was a major blow to their hopes of challenging for a play-off place.
Swindon manager Ronnie Russell said: “By his own admission, Thomas needs to become a more organised rider. He admits that riding in three domestic leagues really is too much and the organisational side of his racing must improve dramatically.”
“Thomas remains an integral part of Swindon Speedway’s future and I fully expect him to feature heavily in our 2011 team building plans. Having spoken to him, I know he feels desperately sorry about letting the Swindon fans down.”
