THOMAS H Jonasson has turned down the chance of a late season return to Edinburgh.
Monarchs wanted the Swede to cover for the injured Andrew Tully but he cannot cope with such a busy schedule at this stage.
Edinburgh spokesman Mike Hunter said: “Thomas' position is well known, after the sad loss of his father he cannot cope with riding in three different leagues plus individual competitions.”
