Lancaster Toyota Ipswich has launched an exciting, exclusive offer to make its small car range even more affordable.

The Just Drive offer, being run by the Toyota retailer in Augusta Close, Ipswich, is available on the complete Aygo city car and Yaris supermini ranges.

The great Just Drive package is made up of:

One year’s free fuel.

Three years 0% finance – from zero deposit.

One year’s road fund licence.

One year’s free comprehensive insurance for drivers aged 21 or above.

Five-year or 100,000-mile manufacturer’s warranty.

One year’s roadside assistance.

General manager Andy Trott said: “It is all about affordability and affordable driving with an all-inclusive package.”

The free fuel for a year element of the Just Drive package is based on average use and average miles per gallon and, at current fuel prices, works out at about 6,000 miles of free-fuel motoring which is the average annual mileage of most of Lancaster Toyota’s Aygo and Yaris customers.

“You have no interest on the finance and pay no road fund licence, no insurance and no fuel for a year,” he explained.

“The idea is you get in the car and Just Drive.

“We are just trying to demonstrate the affordability of new Toyotas in a very competitive and aggressive market place.”

The offer does not include routine maintenance but Mr Trott said Toyota offered servicing packages from as little as £15 a month.

The Just Drive offer covers all Aygo and Yaris models registered by the end of September.

The award-winning 69hp 1.0-litre VVT-i engine in the Aygo is capable of 65.7mpg combined with CO2 emissions a tax-busting 99g/km for manual versions.

Available in three and five-door body styles, the Aygo has shaken up the city car sector, combining its cheap-to-run qualities with character and driving appeal.

Compact on the outside, but big enough inside to carry four six-footers, Aygo makes light work of crowded streets with speed-sensitive power steering and a wheel-at-each-corner design making tight parking spots simpler to tackle.

The third-generation Yaris continues the success story of the previous model which won praise for its roomy interior, durability and versatility. The supermini appeals to both technology-focused customers and those for whom quality, practicality and value for money are the key considerations.

The range includes three and five-door models in T2, TR, Trend, SR and T Spirit models with the choice of 69hp 1.0 and 99hp 1.33-litre VVT-i petrol units and a 90hp 1.4-litre D-4D diesel, with five and six-speed manual and continuously variable automatic transmissions.

It is also offered as a full hybrid combining a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a compact electric motor with a total output of 100hp and up to 80.7mpg combined and CO2 output as low as 79g/km.
