NEW Birmingham No.1 Krzysztof Kasprzak is the latest star name to be announced for the Ben Fund Bonanza at Scunthorpe on March 12.
Kasprzak finished on the rostrum in last year’s event, and also confirmed are appearances from Belle Vue’s Danish prospect Patrick Hougaard and Newcastle’s experienced Australian Mark Lemon.
Meeting organiser Paul Ackroyd said:“Krzysztof rode brilliantly to come second last year and will be travelling over specially from Poland to compete. Patrick approached me, and I always appreciate that – and obviously I wanted him to be included.
“Mark Lemon is a rider who has shown an interest in the Ben Fund for some time. His partner is Tom Owen’s daughter so obviously he is familiar with Joe Owen’s situation, and he often asks me about the Ben Fund. He was keen to race and so I was keen to include him.”
