Anne Guinle, 50, was found dead at her home address in Gazeley Road, Kentford, near Newmarket, on February 8.
The inquest was opened and adjourned as a paper exercise only today at 2pm at the Coroners Office at Suffolk Constabulary in Raingate Street, Bury St Edmund.
A man in his 60s was taken to West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds suffering from smoke inhalation.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Police said they are not treating the fire as suspicious.
