Police have found a missing 62-year-old man from Kessingland near Lowestoft after he left hospital on Sunday afternoon.
Alan Wright was last seen leaving the James Paget Hospital in Gorleston on foot and his diappearence triggered a major search.
He was eventually found at 4.30am on Monday morning and was taken back to hospital for assessment.
Mr Wright, who lives in Kessingland, was described as being white, 5ft 8in tall and of medium build.
Police thanked members of the public who had helped looked for Mr Wright who was returned to the James Paget Hospital on Monday morning so medical staff could assess his condition.
