FORMER Champion Scott Nicholls and surprise package Jordan Frampton led the qualifiers from Thursday’s curtailed British semi-final at Sheffield.
Nicholls and Frampton had both won their opening three races when rain forced the abandonment of the meeting after 12 of the scheduled 20 heats had been completed.
Olly Allen, James Wright, Andrew Tully, Ben Barker and Stuart Robson also made it through to the Final at Wolverhampton - but Grand Prix star Tai Woffinden was a shock casualty, failing to qualify with four points.
Daniel King and Richard Hall could not be split for eighth place, and they will race-off before the British final at Wolves on June 14.
