Police have issued a warning to motorists after a car was stolen from a farm.

The advice comes after a silver Toyota Land Cruiser, registration AV56 EGK, was stolen from a farm in Park Lane, Kirton, at 4.45pm on Thursday.

Cash, a brown leather wallet, sunglasses, a blue fleece and a brown raincoat which were also stolen from the vehicle.

A Suffolk police spokesman said: “Police are reminding drivers to remember to secure their vehicles at all times – even if you are only leaving your car or van unattended for just a few moments.”

Witnesses or people with information relating to the incident are urged to call Suffolk police on 101.
