FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a fire at a home in Ipswich this evening.
The blaze broke out in the kitchen of a home in Bolton Lane at around 8pm.
Two fire crews, one from the Suffolk Fire and Rescue headquarters station in Colchester Road and another from Princes Street arrived to find the fire in a cooker.
A spokesman for the fire brigade said it was a “small fire” found by firefighters in the cooker.
He said: “A female was given oxygen therapy at the scene.” The fire crews tackled the fire, the incident was under control by 8.30pm.
