Knowles appointed election agent

CENTRAL Suffolk and North Ipswich Labour Party has appointed former businessman Bill Knowles as its agent for the General Election.Bill Knowles, aged 61, who retired earlier this year from Ipswich and Norwich Co-operative Society, is a former President of the Chamber of Commerce, Eastern Regional Chairman of the Association of British Chambers of Commerce and founding chairman of the Suffolk Partnership Against Retail Crime.

CENTRAL Suffolk and North Ipswich Labour Party has appointed former businessman Bill Knowles as its agent for the General Election.

Bill Knowles, aged 61, who retired earlier this year from Ipswich and Norwich Co-operative Society, is a former President of the Chamber of Commerce, Eastern Regional Chairman of the Association of British Chambers of Commerce and founding chairman of the Suffolk Partnership Against Retail Crime.

Mr Knowles said: “There is a strong Labour tradition in Central Suffolk and I look forward to working with a good team of experienced campaigners to mount a real challenge for the coming election.”
