The public is being asked to keep a look out for a bag stolen during a burglary in Lakenheath.

Connie Hallford, 89, was in her living room in Arrowhead Drive on the evening of February 17 when she was burgled by three men.

One of them hit her over the head and after searching the house they fled.

It is thought a bag was stolen during the burglary and a picture of a similar bag has been issued to help members of the public identify it if they find it.

People living in the area have are being asked to check around their properties, in their gardens and in their bins.

Dog walkers are also asked to keep an eye out for the item as it may have discarded nearby.

Officers are asking anyone who thinks they have found the bag not to touch it but to contact Bury St Edmunds CID immediately on 101.
