A woman was treated for burns injuries following a car crash near to a 20 acre field fire.
A volunteer critical care paramedic from the Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) charity was called to the scene following a road traffic collision on the A134 at around 3.15pm yesterday, Tuesday 24.
SARS reported that a vehicle came off the road close to a field fire that was in process in an adjacent field.
A female patient was assessed at the scene for burns injuries before being left in the care of the East of England Ambulance Service.
Six crews were called to the blaze yesterday afternoon, believed to be near to the A134 between Cockfield and Bradfield.
A spokesperson from Suffolk Fire and Rescue confirmed that around 20 acres were on fire and the blaze was being tackled in two sections.
Police officers were also at the scene following the collision.
Several units from the fire service which were already on scene dealing with the field fire assisted with the incident.
