A CHIMNEY blaze was brought under control in just over an hour.
Firefighters were called to Lots Farm, Rands Road in Lower Layham shortly before 10.35pm yesterday.
On arrival they found the chimney alight and tackled the flames using chimney roads and small gear.
A thermal image camera was also in use to ensure there were no further hot spots.
The incident was brought under control at 11.45pm.
