A SEARCH is under way for a driver who failed to stop following an accident.
It happened at the traffic lights outside the White Horse in Station Road, Leiston, just after 4pm on Tuesday.
A silver Nissan X-Trail was waiting to turn when a yellow hatchback - possibly an old-style Seat Ibiza or similar - collided with it.
The driver of the hatchback did not stop and leave their details. It is thought the vehicle would have a hub cap missing and some front driver’s side damage.
Anyone who saw the incident or who has any information about the vehicle or driver involved is asked to call police on 01473 613500.
