POLICE today issued an e-fit of a man they want to trace following a sex assault in Haverhill.
The incident happened in Castle Walk at about 9.20pm on August 10.
Detectives say a woman was grabbed by a man from behind as she walked near Castle Avenue. She screamed and struggled free and ran to a place of safety.
The man was white, in his early 20s, about 5ft 7in tall, of medium build with short hair, a small nose and big lips. He was scruffy and wore a navy hooded top and white trainers.
Police want to hear from anybody with any information about the assault, as well as three people the victim passed as she walked - a young female with a girl believed to have been about three years old in Beech Grove, and she passed a man of large build, wearing a tee-shirt and jogging bottoms and walking with a black Labrador near Castle Manor School.
