Speedway: Leicester Lions are all set to race speedway again after an absence of almost 30-years.
Planning has been approved by the council for a new stadium in the Beaumont Leys area of the city which will include community facilities.
Lions Supporters Club spokesman Chris Popple said: “The Lions will race again in 2010. All the Supporters Club members were present for the decision which is a massive triumph.”
