Some of us go to great lengths to avoid walking under ladders - but superstitious pedestrians may find themselves at an impasse when confronted with this penthouse privy.
The first-floor flusher was put in position by builders working on a property in Seckford Street, Woodbridge.
With no room for the portable convenience on the street outside, it was decided that the upstairs scaffolding was the only suitable location.
David Houchell, whose local building firm is carrying out the work, said: “We couldn’t get it through the building – and with car parking at a premium we had to put it there.
“It’s an unusual sight. People have said I must be going up in the world!”
