Police officers received reports of the incident at the Wyevale roundabout in Woodbridge at about 8.10am.
Traffic was queuing for around 20 minutes, backing up to the junction with Woods Lane in Melton.
A Suffolk police spokesman said the road reopened at about 8.35am.
