DANIEL Hodges, who has been charged with the murder of Gillian Andrade, appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court today (Thursday).
He has been further remanded in custody. The plea and case management hearing will be at Chelmsford Crown Court on October 29.
On Sunday, July 8, Gillian Andrade was discovered dead inside a property on Churchfields, Loughton. A provisional post-mortem examination result showed that the 39-year-old woman from River Road, Buckhurst Hill, died from a stab wound.
Hodges was arrested at the scene and subsequently charged with murder.
The 30-year-old oil rigger, who was renting a room at the property in Churchfields, Loughton, has given this as his address in court.
