An 18-year-old man is due to appear at Lowestoft Magistrates Court this morning, Wednesday 2 October, charged with two counts of attempted burglary and the theft of a pedal cycle.
Henry Smith, of Mill Lane, Ellingham, was arrested yesterday, Tuesday 1, and interviewed by officers in connection with incidents at a home at Quaves Lane in Bungay on Friday 20 and Monday 23 September.
He was subsequently charged with two attempted burglaries at one address - one on Friday 20 and one on Monday 23 - and with the theft of a pedal cycle from another address in Quaves Lane on the evening of Monday 23.
He has been detained in custody overnight and is now due to appear before magistrates from 9.30am this morning.
