Lowestoft bridge reopens after three cars collide in Saltwater Way

Three cars collided this afternoon, partially closing a busy Suffolk river crossing.

Suffolk police received reports of a crash just before 5pm today in Saltwater Way, Lowestoft, which crosses Oulton Broad.

A Nissan, Citroen and Ford Fiesta were reported to have collided, causing damage to the vehicles.

No one is reported to have been seriously hurt, however the road was blocked while the vehicles were removed.

Suffolk police confirmed the road had reopened by 7.10pm.
