A MAN and a teenager have been charged with theft of lead and two counts of burglary following incidents in Lowestoft last month.

David Levy, 26, of Wentworth Way in Lowestoft, and a 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have both been charged with theft - stealing lead from Carlton Colville Primary School roof on June 7 - and two counts of burglary.

A lawn mower was taken from one shed and a petrol strimmer from another on the allotments at Kirkley Park Road between June 5 and 7.

Levy has also been charged with producing cannabis and possession of cannabis.

Both are due to appear at Lowestoft Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning.
