Lowestoft: Man assaulted in alleyway

A man was robbed in an alleyway in Lowestoft yesterday afternoon

The incident happened after a 28-year-old man was approached by another man in an alleyway at the back of Kent Road around 4.40pm.

The man asked the 28-year-old for money - he refused and started to walk away, and was then assaulted, possibly by more than one offender. A quantity of cash was taken from his wallet.

The man who approached him is described as white, in his late teens to early 30s, about 5ft 9ins tall and of slim build. He was wearing jeans, a grey hooded top and a black scarf partially over his face.
