A MAN arrested on suspicion of burglary following a break-in at a home has been charged.

Michael Pritchard, 43, of Salisbury Road, Lowestoft, was arrested on Tuesday following the burglary at a Beccles Road property in Carlton Colville between 4.30pm and 6.50pm on Monday.

A large quantity of cash and jewellery were stolen in the incident. He has now been charged with this offence – and with burgling two business premises in Great Yarmouth in January.

He was interviewed about the Beccles Road property crime and also about the burglaries at the business premises in King Street and at Mill Road in Great Yarmouth overnight on January 27-28. In both these incidents cash was stolen.

He has now been charged with all three burglaries and has been detained in custody to appear at Lowestoft Magistrates Court today.
