COASTGUARDS were called to help locate a girl who was reported missing in Lowestoft.
Suffolk Police contacted Yarmouth Coastguard to assist with tracing a girl who was reported missing at 12.55pm.
A spokesman for Yarmouth Coastguard said: “We were asked by Suffolk Police to assist in the search for a missing girl. We searched the coastal areas of Lowestoft, including the beach and cliffs.
“The girl was located safe and well by 2.45pm.
“She was not found on the beach, but was located elsewhere by Suffolk police.”
