Two parakeets were rescued from a fire at a bungalow by firefighters.
Three fire crews were called to the incident in Crown Meadow Walk, Lowestoft at around 6.45pm today, with reports of people inside the bungalow.
Firefighters searched the property and found a cooker on fire, but no occupants inside other than the parakeets.
The scene was under control by 7pm.
