A 16-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged by police after being found to be in possession of two kitchen knives in Lowestoft town centre.
The teenager from Lowestoft is due to appear at the town’s youth court tomorrow charged with possession of an article with a blade or sharp point, two counts of assaulting a police officer and one of resisting a police officer in the execution of their duty after officers stopped him in London Road North in the early hours of Thursday April 19.
Police had information that the teenager was making his way through the town centre and may have a weapon on him.
Officers stopped him near Boots and arrested him a short time later.
